"Kucha paboty... no strashno po tebe istaskovalsia." Or "istaskovalas'", if it is said by a female.
You may translate it literary as well:
"Kucha (ujma, prorva) raboty... no tebia hochetsia strashno (uzhasno)." (Куча (уйма, прорва) работы... но тебя хочется страшно (ужасно)."
Or:
"Работы невпроворот... но страшно по тебе соскучился (соскучилась)." ("Raboty nevprovorot... no strashno po tebe soskuchilsia (soskuchilas'."

Было много работы... но тебя мне очень не хватало.


Explanation:
If I am not mistaken the phrase is not completely correct - there should be "badly" instead of "bad". Anyway the version I have suggested can be applied (unlike may be other possible versions) to any "you", no matter, if this is he, or she.
