This condenses enriched C1 vapour from the column overhead to produce a lean LNG for liquid pumping. The design also uses existing vaporizers to vaporize column feed. Some LNG production plant locations, however, have grown to a size that would meet minimum economic scale for a steam cracker taking C2 and C3 as feedstock for ethylene and propylene production.
