Автор текста - путешествующий по Сибири англичанин середины 19 века, так что под "Irish row at Donnybrook" явно имеется в виду пресловутая Доннибрукская ярмарка, славившаяся массовыми потасовками.
Таким образом, смысл вполне прозрачен, но вот внятно изложить данный фрагмент по-русски пока как-то не очень получается...
