Having difficulty translating this: "which should be 2% of CT less than pickup when
pickup £ CT or 97 to 98% of pickup when pickup > CT."
in the following context:

Inject current below the pickup level into phase A. Slowly increase the current until the PICKUP indicator is
on. Note the pickup value is the pickup current of the Curve in use. Slowly reduce the current until the
PICKUP indicator goes off. Note the dropout level, which should be 2% of CT less than pickup when
pickup £ CT or 97 to 98% of pickup when pickup > CT. Reduce the current to zero.

Explanation:
при снимаемом сигнале, меньшем СТ, равный величине снимаемого сигнала минус 2% от СТ, а при снимаемом сигнале, большем СТ, - 97 - 98% от снимаемого сигнала.

При этом что такое СТ - увы, не понял...

Она (величина) должна быть на (0,02*ток ТТ = 2% тока ТТ) меньше, чем ток срабатывания, если ток срабатывания меньше тока ТТ,
или должна быть равна 97-98% от тока срабатывания, если ток срабатывания больше тока ТТ.

Вместе с контекстом:
Подайте на фазу А ток, величина которого ниже тока срабатывания. Медленно увеличивайте силу тока, пока не произойдет включение индикатора срабатывания. Запомните величину тока срабатывания, которая характерна для используемой кривой (какой?). Медленно уменьшайте ток, пока индикатор срабатывания не погаснет. Запомните величину тока, при которой произошло отключение. Она должна быть меньше тока срабатывания на 2% от тока ТТ, если ток срабатывания меньше тока ТТ,
или должна быть равна 97-98% от тока срабатывания, если ток срабатывания больше тока ТТ.

В оригинале для упрощения этой фразы везде опущено слово "current", но и так понятно, что речь о токе.
