Dear colleagues,
My name is Maksims and I am from Latvia; currently i am the 4th year student of Ventspils University College, studying Interpreting and Translation, lan-ge pairs: Latvian-Russian-English. Now I work on the diploma paper - " Professional Peculiarities and Ambiguities of the Telephonic Interpreting. Current Situation and Practice in Latvia". I would appreciate any help from professional and non-professional interpreters. Have to find out the common and different things in comparison to other most wide-spread ways of interpretation and what additional effort it takes to be telephonic interpreter, as well as the process of this job as it is not as wide-spread here in Latvia.
