"Na teritoriji GP 2001. godine identifikovano je više tipova stambenih blokova i zona, i to zatvoreni blokovi u starim delovima grada, otvoreni blokovi novih naselja iz druge polovine 20. veka, individualno stanovanje, koje je urbanistički regulisano ali sa različitim odlikama, stanovawe u mešovitim blokovima, blokovima čija je fizička struktuira sastavljena od različitih kombinacija prethodnih tipova, stanovanje u blokovima sa partajama, u prigradskim naseljima a nekadašnjwim selima, kao i stanovanje u sponatno nastalim naseljima, kao što su bespravno podignuta naselja, ostaci starih sela."
