English term or phrase: fused connection unit

Explanation:

When you look at the back of the face plate you will find there are more connection terminals than on a socket outlet. There will be two marked ‘mains’ of which one is labelled live and one neutral. There will be two marked ‘load’ of which one is labelled live and one neutral. There will also be two earth terminals appropriately marked with the earth symbol.

At the end of the branch - i.e. the point where the appliance is connected - you will find a "fused connection unit". Normally, this unit comprises a double pole switch and a fuse. This is what they mean in your sentence with "a double pole switched fuse spur"

Pozdrav!
