Operating free cash flow is free cash flow before the payment of interest to the debt holders but after deducting funds needed (capital expenditure) to maintain the firm’s assets bases. Free cash flow to the firm also refers to the same thing.

EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization) minus total capital spending. The term is frequently used by Wall Street analysts who often will customize the number to make it useful for their own comparisons. Operating free cash flow is popular because it shows how much cash from operations is available to cover a company’s interest payments.
