Science - Geography / geografija morskog dna, podvodni reljef
English term or phrase: front
pelagic front, shelf front, tidal front

"You find those pelagic fronts all over the world - there is one in Japan (in the Kuroshio/Oyashio area), there's one south of Australia, there's one between Spain and Morocco. (...) There is the shelf front of the Bay of Biscay and the Celtic Sea, and, closer to hand still, the Ushant tidal front. A front is a place where waters of various types mix, a place of wild dynamics. It is also a place where life is abundant: fish life and plankton life flourish here."

Serbian translation:front, fronta
Explanation:
tidal front = plimni front (fronta)
wheather (atmospheric) front = vremenski (atmosferski) front (fronta)
==========
Some people would say that "fronta" is not proper Serbian word.. well, maybe ... but with "FRONT " you are allways on the 'safe side' and no one can have any objections.... (as I know it...)

Do not take this proposition of mine as granted --- please do obay the comments of native Serbian experts/speakers... who will surely express their (quallified) opininon...

Kind regards.

Pa, mogli bi ... a možda i PELAGIJSKI (morski), kad već imate u tekstu " those pelagic fronts ..."

Hvala!
Notes to answerer
Asker: Da li bi se svi ovi "frontovi" mogli nazvati "okeanskim frontovima"? Taj izraz nalazim na engleskom i na francuskom, ali ne i na srpskom / hrvatskom. Hvala unapred!
