Postoji čitava polemika iz 2009. kada je EU želela da uvede Zakon o odgovornosti za softver, odnosno da proizvođači softvera odgovaraju ako vam njihov proizvod izazove neku štetu, tj. da za softver važe ista pravila kao za sve ostale fizičke proizvode. Ne znam da li je taj Zakon ipak usvojen, verovatno jeste.

Mislim da bi vaša rečenica trebalo da bude nešto u smislu da neodgovarajuća upotreba IT sistema može voditi narušavanju odgovornosti za softver, tj. da firma u tom slučaju nije odgovorna za softver i eventualnu štetu koju on prouzrokuje.
