Cesto sam se susretala sa izrazom "starter motor" u prevodima vezano za brodogradnju i remont brodova. Starter - motor ostaje kao sto je u originalu, a inace se radi o starteru (anlaseru) sa nazubljenjem. Medjutim sacekajte malo. Mozda bude i boljih odgovora :-)

neutral  RINA LINGUISTIC SERVICES, Katarina Radojevic- Mitrovic: Sladjana, ocigledno je da je rec o automobilima, jer kolega pominje Phantom, te stoga ja i podvlacim razliku da se u automobilskoj industriji razlikuju termini pokretac automobila tj. anlaser i pokretac motora ili starter motora (automobila).

  -> Znam Rina, ali s obzirom na dati kontekst, bilo je vrijedno predloziti odgovor. Zaista se stedejlo na kontekstu, a iz onog sto je dato pretpostavljam da se radi o automobilu. Zbog toga podrzavam da se primjeni naziv anlaser. Mi kazemo i paljenje motora

Rec je o starteru motora, pa bi tako i trebalo zadrzati, eventualno mozete zameniti i nazivom pokretac motora. Ima razlicitih vrsta pokretaca motora kao elektro-pokretaca, rucnih pokretaca itd.
Ne bih se slozila da je u pitanju anlaser,jere je anlaser pokretac automobila, a ne pokretac motora.

A small electrical motor that causes the engine crankshaft to begin to turn, which starts the engine running and so starts the vehicle. Also called the "cranking motor." Also see bendix type starter drive and overrunning clutch starter drive
