Military / Defense / gladiators
English term or phrase: t o come leaps and bounds

Our two female Gladiators have come on in leaps and bounds. The hard yards they put in working on their reflexes and coordination are beginning to pay off.

U smislu have come a long way... puno su napredovale i sl?

postici iznenadjujuci napredak, postici nevjerovatan (neocekivan) napredak, zacudjujuce napredovati
Explanation:

'By leaps and bounds' je jos jedna moguca verzija - vjerovatno zavisi od engleskog 'dijalekta' Oxford daje: 'By leaps and bounds'

by leaps and bounds - with startingly rapid progress
