Reference information:
The group’s activities also include handing out an educational pamphlet, screening a promotional video and staging an interactive theatrical skit with participation from the audience. The skit, written in consultation with experts and psychologists, follows Turkish family members who are struggling over a decision to buy insurance and implement preparedness measures in their home, and audience members are invited to join, posing as firemen, inspectors or other similar figures. Despite some technical difficulties with the sound system, well over 50 people crowded around to watch the skit Tuesday evening.
