English to Serbo-Croat translations [PRO] Bus/Financial - Surveying / labour survey statistics | | English term or phrase: high and low buffering method | "Two prompting methods are available to those measuring volunteer work. These are
referred to in the literature as high or low “buffering.” The high buffered approach uses an
extensive series of yes/no questions about specific volunteer activities in which the
respondent may have participated, and then asks the respondent for details about each
activity to which the respondent responded “yes.” The “low-buffered” approach asks
respondents a single, more open-ended, question about whether they have engaged in
volunteer work immediately followed by questions about any activity reported in response
to this question."
Text is a fragment of a manual of International Labour Organization that deals with measuring volunteer work worldwide. It is addressed at statistics departments in various countries and proposes specific methods to be used.
I am looking for narrowest possible explanation (best case - exact translation in Serbian/Croatian/Montenegrin) of these statistical terms: prompting and high/low buffering methods.
Thank you! |
