English to Sinhalese translations [PRO] Human Resources | | English term or phrase: Singhalese unicode fonts | We have transcribed a couple of short texts (1 Word, 1 Excel) for a client in Singhalese (the language of Sri Lanka). These were prepared using a TTF font (Kaputa 2004). However, our client needs to have these texts displayed using a unicode font. The unicode font supplied by the client (Kaputa unicode) does not work.
We have checked with our translation partner in India but they only know of 2 Singhalese unicode fonts and both of these have bugs/errors. Does anyone happen to know of any Singhalese unicode font that could be used with our two short texts?
Or can anyone give further advice? |

| | Sinhalese translation:Sinhalese | Explanation: Hi,
I'm a professional Sinhalese translator in Sri Lanka.
I know about 2 Sinhalese unicode fonts they are, 'Thibus Unicode' and 'Iskola pota'.
They look fine in PDF but you have to have some system requirements. The system you work should have Windows XP, Service Pack 2 and Office 2003.
Hope this would solve your problem. |
