Tech/Engineering - Computers (general) / Bluetooth devices | | English term or phrase: (Un)pairing | Could you provide me with the translation of the above term(s) that is not "vzpostavljanje/prekinitev povezave med dvema napravama" as the term "dis/connect" also appears in the text (immediately afterwards) and they have to be distinguished.

There are many ways to translate this, but I think this is the best one, because it gives the clearest picture about the procedure. The procedure itself is rather similar to formal introduction of two people: the two devices are introduced to each other by a third party (the user), whereupon they save a token of each others identity (encrypted ID code, in the analogy like a business card) and use it to recognize each other in the future connections. |
