|English term or phrase: How are you today brown sugar?|
|simply to say hello to a friend...|
1 day9 hrs
Kako si danes, ljubcek/ljubica? or- Kako si kaj, pesa?
There are many ways to say it in Slovene. One can hear all sort of phrases around here. Simply to say Hello to a friend, it is enough to say:
Kako si kaj, dragi / draga?
Anyhow, the translation of the source text can be:
Kako si danes? or Kako se danes pocuti? adding a loving phrase to it.
The word draga/dragi can be replaced by: ljubi moj/ljubica moja, sladki, sladkorcek, ljubcek, pesa, etc.
As pesa is used to manufacture sugar, it seems an interesting replacement of brown sugar, though it is rarely heard.
