English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Bus/Financial - Accounting | | English term or phrase: aggregated by investment category and length of time | This is part of a complicated long phrase appearing in notes to an insurance company's financial statetements. I'm lost with the whole phrase which reads:
"Gross unrealized losses and fair value on investments, aggregated by investment category and length of time individual securities have been in a continuous unrealized loss position, at December 31, are summarized below" (there follows a chart with figures)
I would appreciate some help with the transaltion of this phrase, I actually do not understand at all its wording...

Creo que lo que te confunde es el paréntesis, hoy estoy inspirada, así que sería algo así:
Las pérdidas brutas no realizadas y el valor justo* de las inversiones, -agregados por categoría de inversión y período de tiempo, los certificados de acciones han estado continuamente en una posición de pérdida no realizada continua-, a Diciembre 31, están resumidas abajo.
fair value:1-valor justo, cuando comprador y vendedor están en conocimiento del precio de las acciones y de acuerdo
2-valor de las acciones pensando en el que tendrán en el momento de la venta.

Puse período de tiempo porque habla de distintos períodos, de distinta duración, no lo veo como 'categoría de tiempo' o 'tiempo' solo, a secas. |
