Supongo que se refiere al total de ingresos y gastos de explotación en la cuenta de resultados, no en el balance. Pone "loss" entre paréntesis porque la diferencia puede ser negativa (más gastos que ingresos), tratándose en tal caso de una pérdida de explotación.
