English term or phrase: 100th Edition
Title on the cover of a Newsmagazine for Mexico. This is its 100th Edition: Just want to confirm if they use "Número" instead of "Edición"?

Número 100 or Edición 100?

Muchas gracias.

edition
Explanation:
I think LadyofArcadia´s doubt is more about "edición o número" than about the "100". I would say "Número 100" just like that, celebrating the 100 issues, because a book can be "edited" one, two, or XX times, but it is highly unlikely that a specific issue of a magazine had more than one edition.- "Centésima Edición" would be an incorrect translation in my opinion.

depende del uso

Explanation:
Yo pondría "Edición No. 100" si se trata de un título corto, porque suena mejor...

Utilizaría "centésima" si es dentro de una frase/texto más largo.

Example sentence(s):
  • Centésima edición de las Guías Michelin
