The number of people or households exposed to a vehicle, without regard to whether they actually saw or heard the material conveyed by that vehicle.

El término audiencia se emplea en español para definir el colectivo de oyentes de una emisora de radio o de televidentes de una determinada cadena o programa de TV.
En este contexto, público es más adecuado. Cuando los técnicos de mercadotecnia lanzan un producto, lo dirigen a un "publico" determinado, nunca a una audiencia.
