English term or phrase: ad banner
What is the most common way to translate this in Spain? Paid advertising banners on top of Web sites? Anuncios comerciales? Titulares comerciales? Just titulares?

I just noticed Telefonica's glossary/dictionary, which defines "banner" as "Anuncio publicitario que se inserta en una página web.

So I think "anuncio publicitario" is a good equivalent.

"bandera" publicitaria

Explanation:
It is after all like a flag waving on a web page begging the user to purchase their product.. So it is an option should you choose to use it.
