Ensuring that aircraft are loaded properly is the responsibility of everyone working on the ramp! A key component in ensuring load integrity is an accurate close-out to the Load Planner. Although a “close-out” is something that occurs in the last minutes of flight handling, achieving an accurate close-out requires that everyone involved in loading the aircraft work the entire flight with this objective in mind. This will require that everyone know and follow the Cargo Load Plan and work together to record accurate close-out information.
xxx’s FAA-approved Weight & Balance Program requires that everything loaded on the aircraft be correctly reflected in the final close-out to the Load Planner. The minimum expectation for all employees – not just the Lead/Designated Safety Agent – is that everything that is loaded on the aircraft is accurately reported in the final close- out to the Load Planner. |
