English to Spanish translations [PRO] Science - Agriculture | | English term or phrase: "land races" (paragraph) | The possible problem of losing genetic diversity, especially the loss of many locally-adapted "land races", has been attributed to the consequences of IPRs, in combination with the tendency to improve and propagate only a few selected lines of the main crops using marker-selected breeding and modern biotechnology.
What is land races here? I cannot see it.
Thanks, (and I hope this is the last) |
