A harvest and regeneration technique removing all the trees (regardless of size) on an area. Clearcutting is commonly used with shade-intolerant species such as Douglas fir or lodgepole pine, which require full sunlight to reproduce and grow well. Clearcutting produces an even-aged stand of trees.

Sistema de corta en el que todos los pies de una parcela son cortados de una vez, independientemente de su diámetro. Es propia de especies heliófilas (de sol), como la mayoría de las coníferas. Las cortas a hech tienden a producir masas regulares.
El término cortas a hecho es más técnico, pero ambos son válidos y habituales en la literatura forestal.

Sistema de corta en el que todos los pies de una parcela son cortados de una vez, independientemente de su diámetro. Es propia de especies heliófilas (de sol), como la mayoría de las coníferas. Las cortas a hech tienden a producir masas regulares.

Me acaba de venir a la mente que también se puede traducir como "aprovechamiento a hecho" o "aprovechamiento a matarrasa" ya que harvest es más bien un aprovechamiento maderero.
