Acepción 1 a del Merriam-Webster Online-Dictionary : something created by humans usually for a practical purpose; especially : an object remaining from a particular period.

El uso de 'artefacto' como traducción de "artifact" resulta anglicado en este contexto...me parece. ¿Cuál es la traducción en castizo y según el campo de la arqueología en español?

Se me ocurre que a lo mejor objetos/ artículos / obras. Gracias.
