depósitos de relleno
Explanation:
De ahí la gran abundancia de trabajos sobre paleontología de mamíferos y bioestratigrafía basada en ellos. En menor número, aunque cada vez más abundantes, existen trabajos sobre la litoestratigrafía, sedimentología y estructura de los depósitos de relleno de esta fosa.

Regarding "depósitos de enterramiento", all I can find in Google Books refer to burial sites. I don´t think your text refers to this.

I know that in Spanish "fill deposits" literally means "depósitos de relleno" but I wonder if "depósitos de enterramiento" would be a better term. I have been reading a Journal on Archaeofauna in Spanish and they use the term "enterramiento" and I never came across with the term "relleno" but Marina Pastora Soldati did. I imagine both terms (relleno and enterramiento) are acceptable and I really appreciate her help.
