English to Spanish translations [PRO]
Architecture / Manufactured housing | | English term or phrase: park model manufactured housing | "FEMA and the state of North Carolina will provide mobile homes and PARK MODEL MANUFACTURED HOUSING for disaster survivors only in counties where the need for temporary housing outstrips the supply of available rentals, Bolch said".
I know that "manufactured housing" is translated as "casas prefabricadas", But I cannot fully understand the concept of "park model."

Por lo que investigué en Internet, se trata de pequeñas casas o cabañas que pueden trasladarse (no me queda claro por qué mecanismo). Quizás por ello las llaman "park" (las "estacionas" donde quieras).

Investigué un poco más y se les llama "park model homes" porque son las que habitualmente se ven en los parques u otros tipos de áreas verdes (casas o cabañas pequeñas, pero con todo lo necesario para pasar las vacaciones).

¿Será muy largo que digas "casas prefabricadas del estilo de las de los parque de vacaciones" o "casas prefabricadas estilo parque de vacaciones"? Si fuera tú, optaría por esta segunda opción.
