Se trata de un término genérico para referirse a las lenguas europeas utilizadas en las colonias (con la consiguiente aparición de una nueva variedad). "Creole" se utiliza a veces en español, aunque quizá resulte más apropiado "criollo".

Yo quería decir que: ...cuando se escribe la palabra "Creol" no se sabe si hay que quitarle la "e" al final.

Haitian Creole, as is now called, is a French-based lexicon with African syntax, terminology and words. Some of old French words that have been readapted by the slaves to their own ways of speaking have become linguistically typical of HC. If you want to avoid any confusion, you might write HC or CH (Creole Haitiano)

CRIOLLO: 1 adj.-s. Hijo de padres europeos, nacido en cualquier otra parte del mundo.
2 Negro nacido en América, por oposición al que ha sido traído de África.
3 Americano descendiente de europeos.

P.D. No sé si este término también se aplica al idioma nacional, pero como ya lo sugerí, para evitar cualquier confusión... yo utilizaría HC o CH. Así, no quedará la menor duda.
