en realidad "thoroughfare" es una forma muy amplia de designar cualquier vía de comunicación, ya sea para vehículos, peatones, aviones o embarcaciones, casi cualquier sinónimo que pongas estará bien. Revisa EURODICAUTOM para obtener muchos sinónimos. Mucha suerte. GFS.
