Explanation:
De acuerdo con mongo. En varios países de habla hispana, también se los llama diputados.
En ambos casos (representantes o diputados), se refiere a los legisladores de la cámara baja de un Congreso o Parlamento nacional, la también llamada cámara de diputados o, justamente, cámara de representantes, como se la llama en EE.UU.
Si se estuviese refiriendo a los miembros de esta última, personalmente, lo traduciría como "representantes"; pero ambas formas son correctas.
Mas ojo! Ten cuidado, porque si tu documento se estuviera refiriendo a los miembros de la cámara baja de una asamblea estatal norteamericana ("a state legislature", como le dicen), como las hay en todos y cada uno de los estados de la Unión, entonces sí, se utiliza "delegados".
Esto último, sin embargo, sería bastante improbable, puesto que en inglés mismo no los llaman "representatives", sino "delegates" (state delegate, Fulano de Tal, alguna vez habrás escuchado). Pero de cualquier manera, fíjate bien porque mucha gente (incluso algunos periodistas) tienden a confundir los términos y equivocadamente, en ocasiones, llaman representante a un delegado estatal.
