The vapor gas of a vehicle is mainly generated from the fuel tank. If there is a leakage in the fuel line connected to injectors, a large quantity of vapor gas can be released into the atmosphere. When the vapor gas is released, hydrocarbon (HC) which is harmful to the human body is discharged into the air. Therefore, the PCSV is needed to capture the vapor gases and send it to the combustion chamber. Though the PCSV can capture the vapor gases and send them to the combustion chamber, it cannot monitor the gas released into the atmosphere. |
