En en la sección del manual en donde explican cómo realizar un diagnóstico a un motor a gasolina. A ver si alguien me ayuda a deducir qué quisieron decir con "hot at all time voltage". Será un "voltaje mayor constante", o algo así?

No tengo tiempo ahora, Diego, pero la forma de sacarte la duda es buscar en Internet algún sitio donde se explique el funcionamiento de los sensores de oxígeno del conversor catalítico. Pero de calor, nada. Siempre es mejor poner lo correcto en ese tipo de dispositivos que andar adivinando qué es lo que quiso decir este buen señor con "hot at all times".
En un sistema de corriente alterna, hay tres cables, el "vivo" (hot), es decir, que tiene corriente, que se suele denominar positivo o fase, el negativo o neutro y, por último, la toma de tierra. No sé explicarlo mejor pero espero que te aclare algo.

Creo que todos estamos de acuerdo en que debe ser constante, pero lo que me desconcierta es lo de "hot"... Un voltaje o una tensión caliente? Hasta donde yo sé, eso no existe (salvo que sea una tensión alta constante, que produzca calor???). Por eso me pregunto qué habrán querido decir. Si hubiesen querido decir simplemente "Tensión constante", habrían escrito "constant voltage" o algo así, y no salirse con ese "hot at all time voltage".

NdeT: A modo de ejemplo, un "Hot all time wire" es un cable que está energizado en forma permanente, o sea que no existe ningún interruptor que le corte la alimentación a ese cable.
