I’m translating a short text from English to Spanish where a company announces that they are going to produce a car’s engine part called “conveyor” or “conveyer” (they use these two spellings). There is no further context (no images, no explanation of what this component is used for) and I cannot find anything that makes sense. I’m thinking that this may have something to do with the “correa de distribución”, but does anyone know what this part can be and/or what it is called in Spanish?
By the way, I think the person who wrote this is not a native English speaker.

Como no tienes mayor explicación, conveyor puede ser una pieza que hace que otra se mueva, o puede ser una faja o banda transportadora. Transportador o Transportadora es la traduccion, en mi opinión sea cual fuere su uso. Conveyor System en la línea de ensamblaje, para mí, es la banda o faja transportadora en donde van pasando las piezas que cada persona coloca, pero si no dice "Belt" o "system" es el transportador que sostiene otra pieza giratoria, por lo general.

Explanation:
I can't find anything about a conveyor as part of an engine, either. Is is possible they are talking about a conveyor system as part of the assembly line? Here is a link to a You Tube video of engine assembly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WPxr2DvWUsM. Good luck.
