La verdad no sé si hay una traducción exacta para ese término. Si no la hay,una posible traducción también es bienvenida...

Explanation:
Parece que no hay nada que se le parezca en español. Mi sugerencia quizás parezca muy inocente pero si es un neologismo, ¿por qué no dejarlo tal cual, utilizando la tipografía cursiva para indicar que no existe en nuestro idioma?

Al menos se puede pronunciar, sería una palabra llana. Microorganismo, microoxen... Creo que puede ser una salida a este problema.
