Me da la impresion que es un tipo de tinta, metodo de contraste para separar e identificar un componente quimico.

al parece el quenched es el que recibe el "dye" o tinte.

Creo que al desglosar los terminos podras deducirlo, pero necesitas tener conocimientos en la materia en español.
