| Jan 27 - Changes made by Yana Dovgopol: | | Term Context | [20] The complete nucleotide sequences of the ErbBl, ErbB2, ErbB3 and ErbB4 arc known and can be found in Gcnbank as accession number NM 005228 for ErbBl, accession number NM 004448 for ErbB2, accession number M29366 or NM 001982 for ErbB3, and accession number NM 005235 for ErbB4. The full length ectodomain, the extracellular domain, for ErbB receptors contains four sub-domains, sometimes referred to as LI, CR1, L2 and CR2, where L and CR stand for large and cysteine rich, respectively. The sub-domains are also sometimes known as domains I-IV or alternatively as LI, SI, Lll and Sll as they extend from the amino terminus. Amino acid sequences of the receptors have been analyzed and the sequences appear to be homologous and have been aligned. Alignments of the ectodomains of ErbBl, ErbB2, ErbB3 and ErbB4 are provided in US Patent Publication No. 2006/0234343 in Figures 1A and IB.
