fitopatólogo forestal


Explanation:
Es un termino en ingles que se viene utilizando recientemente en el ámbito científico para nombrar a los fitopatólogos (especializados en las patologías de las plantas) de manera de acercar el concepto de lo que hacemos al publico en general. Nunca lo he visto la equivalencia al español como doctor de plantas o árboles….. no suena realmente por lo cual en español nos referimos a fitopatólogos y en este caso fitopatólogos forestal.
Yo misma soy un tree doctor y tambien plant doctor.. ya que me especializo en el diagnostico, epidemiología y tratamiento de enfermedades de las plantas en general y forestales en particular.
Los horticultores, arbolistas, etc no se especializan en esta área, se dedican a las técnicas de cultivo de plantas o árboles y pueden tener un conocimiento limitado sobre enfermedades y control pero el termino "plant doctor" se refiere específicamente a nosotros los fitopatólogos y se esta utilizando mucho en publicaciones y conferencias.
