Yield es un término de inglés financiero que tiene muchas acepciones dependiendo del contexto. Técnicamente hablando es más complejo de lo que parece; no es "rendimiento a secas". Normalmente se refiere a la tasa de retorno de un instrumento financiero, expresado en términos de porcentage. Habitualmente es lo mismo que el TIR (tasa de rendimiento interno = effective rate of return). El yield se utiliza mucho para referirse a bonos. Así en el caso que nos ocupa, yield es lo mismo que YTM (yield to maturity) o simplemente yield, que significa retorno/rendimiento anual de un bono/pagaré/etc calculado hasta su vencimiento de 2/5/12 años, tomando en cuenta su precio de compra y la tasa
de interés del mismo. Rendimiento A 2/5/12 años

También puede significar rentabilidad por dividendo de una empresa, aunque creo que aquí no es de aplicación este significado.
