English term or phrase: lost business
Hello again. I think I know what this means, but I'd like to ask you just in case I'm wrong. This term appears in the following sentence: "If your registration is not renewed in a timely manner, you will lose income from USDA, AFS, and lost business."
Thanks in advance.

lucro cesante / pérdida de negocios
Explanation:
Depende del contexto. Si e contexto no se refiere a un documento legal, o de seguros, , me parece que te sirve simplemente "pérdida de negocios"

Este es un caso de lucro cesante:
If your business property burned down, for instance, the property itself is a direct loss, while the lost business revenues would be considered an indirect loss

Y esto séría la "pérdida de negocios":

Once the third failure has occurred, inspection will be withdrawn for approximately 2-3 months, which effectively closes the processing plant. This action by the USDA results in layoffs, loss of reputation, and lost business.
