Integrador de sistemas, Visualización científica Explanation: Estas definiciones de diccionario seguramente te ayudarán. Suerte! visualization Using the computer to convert data into picture form. The most basic visualization is that of turning transaction data and summary information into charts and graphs. Visualization is used in computer-aided design (CAD) to render screen images into 3-D models that can viewed from all angles and which can also be animated. See scientific visualization and information visualization. scientific visualization Using the computer to display real-world objects that cannot normally be seen, such as the shapes of molecules, air and fluid dynamics and weather patterns. Scientific visualization requires enormous computing resources, and the supercomputer centers and national laboratories throughout the world are always at the forefront of such activity. See visualization. Visualizing the Structure of Protein The picture on the left is the x-ray diffraction pattern of an apilopoprotein E3 protein crystal, which plays a major role in cholesterol metabolism. The tiny spots are the x-ray reflections from the crystal, which are used to reconstruct the electron density of atoms (right). Next Stage - The Structure Model The colored sticks are the detailed 3-dimensional structure models of the molecule that were fitted into the actual electron density (blue grid-like areas). This stereo image appears 3-D when viewed cross-eyed. The Final Ribbon Model Using visualization techniques, the overall 3-D four-helix bundle structure of the molecule is represented as a ribbon model. The 3-D image of this molecule helps researchers better understand it and its interaction with other molecules. systems integrator An individual or organization that builds systems from a variety of diverse components. With increasing complexity of technology, more customers want complete solutions to information problems, requiring hardware, software and networking expertise in a multivendor environment. Some of the major systems integrators are Andersen Consulting, Price Waterhouse, Computer Sciences Corporation, IBM Global Services, HP, Compaq, Ernst & Young, EDS and Deloite Consulting information visualization Representing data in 3-D images in order to navigate through it more quickly and access it in a more natural manner. Although the term was coined at Xerox's Palo Alto Research Center, which has developed very advanced techniques, multidimentional cubes, or pivot tables, are a simpler form of information visualization that is widely used today. See OLAP and slice and dice. A 3-D Cone Tree Data representated in this form provides faster navigation and allows more information to be seen at one time. The Cone Tree shows the structure of an entire hierarchy all at once, and the cones spin around to retrieve occluded data. The Perspective Wall By smoothly moving from side to side, the Perspective Wall gives the user a feeling of "object constancy." Information is provided in a continuous flow from beginning to end. The Data Lens This 3-D pyramidal view of data once again allows more documents in view at one time. Pages "morph" into the front lens when selected. While you may not be using these types of viewers today, experiments such as these are sure to influence your user interface tomorrow Compact American Dictionary of Computer Words, Computer Desktop Encyclopedia, and my own experience as engineer |

superintendentes y supervisores Explanation: that is, "superintendents and supervisors", do seem to happen as job titles in the IT industry: "RULE TO: technology center superintendent or applied technology center..." (one of the links under ref 1), you may check for more data under ref 2...if what you're after is job titles, 'course...This becomes clearer in Spanish, we seem to love those "super" titles, no one's called suprasomething... Look (ref 2): "... y el sistema de informática como apoyo a la ... Dirigido a. Superintendentes, Gerentes, Jefes y Supervisores de: Mantenimiento, Operación ..." and a few more under (sorry...): http://www.google.com/search?num=20&hl=en&lr=lang_en|lang_es... Right, hope it's good and didn't waste your time and my fingertips. Taraa :-) Reference: http://www.google.com/search?q=superintendent+SI+SUPERVISOR+...
