Se trata de una carta en la cual el gerente de atención al cliente pide disculpas por no haber aplicado un descuento a un cliente.

La carta empieza así:

"As you informed us earlier today by phone, the invoiced order you were sent is indeed incorrect. Your order should have been discounted 45% instead of 20%."

Al terminar la carta dice:

"This month our store is featuring a promotion on a new line of high-quality acrylics; this will be offered to you at a 45% discount, which we will make sure you’ll get!"

La palabra "get" me complica un poco. ¿Se le "aplicará", "obtendrá"....?

Supongo que es un cliente (al por mayor, pareciera) que tiene una línea de crédito con el proveedor, por eso me parece adecuado hablar de "aplicarle el descuento a la cuenta (del cliente)".
