the whole sentence is : "The arbitrator shall complete the arbitration proceeding within ninety (90) days after appointment, shall provide a written decision in English, and shall base any decision on the terms of this Agreement and on applicable law and JUDICIAL PRECEDENT."
Not sure how to translate that.. any suggestions?? :)

Explanation:
La jurisprudencia es la palabra que se usa en español, aunque su definición y aplicación varíe de país en país.

En el derecho de países anglosajones, la jurisprudencia se basa en el "case law", o sea, en precedentes de sentencias dictadas por distintos tribunales, en casos similares, ya sea en apelación, o que nunca fueron apeladas.

En donde se aplique el código napoleónico, la jurisprudencia emana del Tribunal Supremo de Justicia o de la Corte de Casación, pero no necesariamente de sentencias definitivas de cualquier tribunal.

Se entiende por jurisprudencia las reiteradas interpretaciones que de las normas jurídicas hacen los tribunales de justicia en sus resoluciones, y puede constituir una de las Fuentes del Derecho, según el país.

En el Derecho anglosajón es una fuente de primera magnitud, debido a que los jueces deben fundamentar sus decisiones o sentencias judiciales mediante un estudio minucioso de los precedentes.
