I've come across hits for "notification of birth registration," which, according to one site, allows parents to verify the information on the birth certificate and to make changes within the first year of the child's birth.
What do you think of something as literal as "notificación del registro de nacimiento"? When googled, it gets only a couple of hits, but I wonder if an equivalent exists in Spain or Latin America.
