En Argentina, se le suele llamar 'reválida' a los casos en lso que se solicita una extensión del plazo de vencimiento para rendir un examen final o presentar un trabajo An Instructor may allow extensions at his or her discretion, however if a student is unable to complete term work prior to the deadline for submission of grades for the course, he or she must obtain an "Application for Deferment of Term Work, Papers, Assignments or Instructor-scheduled Tests" from the Undergraduate Programs Office in MSC 4th Floor.
