The few references to "sugar calcium" I found is about "calcium gluconate". See the site. I think it is a complexe of sugar and calcium hydroxide. Can it be???

En la industria del azúcar, los licores que resultan de la extracción mecánica, luego de la primer filtrada, debe ser purificada y blanqueada. El aúcar con la cal apagada forma un sacarato 100% soluble en agua. Este sacarato se filtra entonces y se cristaliza luego el azúcar blanco.
