English term or phrase: combination drug
As in one drug that combines two or more active pharmaceutical ingredients.

I've found this written a variety of different ways in Spanish. Does anyone know the standard term used by people in the field, please?

Thanks in advance!

WHAT ARE COMBINATION DRUGS?
Combination drugs are medications that contain two different types of medication in the same inhaler or nebulizer solution. For example, an inhaled steroid may be combined with a long-acting beta-agonist. While each of these medications can be taken in separate inhalers, it is often more convenient for some people to take both drugs in a single inhaler. There is some evidence that combining medications may increase the widening of the airways more than by using either of the two drugs alone.

Combination drug
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search
A combination drug most commonly refers to a fixed-dose combination (FDC), which is a formulation including two or more active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) combined in a single dosage form, which is manufactured and distributed in certain respective fixed doses.[1] Terms like "combination drug" or "combination drug product" can be common shorthand for a FDC product (since most combination drug products are currently FDCs), although the latter is more precise if in fact referring to a mass-produced product having a predetermined combination of drugs and respective dosages (as opposed to customized polypharmacy via compounding[2]). And it should also be distinguished from the term "combination product" in medical contexts, which without further specification can refer to products that combine different types of medical products - such as device/drug combinations as opposed to drug/drug combinations.[3] Note that when a combination drug product (whether fixed-dose or not) is a "pill" (i.e., a tablet or capsule), then it is also a kind of "polypill" or combopill.
