Creo que debe haber un error tipográfico en "hydrolylated". De todas formas, no he podido averiguar si la traducción correcta es 3-hidrolizado".

Sí, se trata de un error tipográfico, pero el hecho de que emplee la terminación "-ated", me hace pensar que el término correcto es "hydroxylated" y no "hydrolised", es decir "hidroxilado" y no "hidrolizado" que no son lo mismo ("adición de un grupo hidroxilo" el primero y "ruptura de una molécula por acción del agua" el segundo). Además, he visto que ya planteabas una duda en el que el término que aparece es "hidroxilación" (¿quizás el mismo proceso o la misma sustancia?) De todos modos creo que la palabra merece una nota de traductor. Suerte. |

Explanation:
Hydrolated in position 3 of the compound, at that Carbon atom in the third position from the -COOH group for example.
Yes, there's an error- it should be hydrolysated, which means a -OH group was introduced in reaction of that compound with water, in position 3.
I reccomend "hidrolizado en pozicion 3 (in position 3)" and not "3-hidrolizado". I am a doctor. Sorry for my Spanish.
