ERM may refer to when a person is trying to remember or think of something. (Eg: Wait a minute, erm, oh yes I know!') It has found wide usage as Internet slang, while Hmm, Um, Uh and Er are used more widely elsewhere.

Sin embargo, como es evidente que el que habla no hace gala de una grmática perfecta, podría ser una forma fonética de "them" (por "they"), si unís el sonido de "and erm" = and them...

He traducido muchos libros en que se reproducía la manera de hablar de ciertos personajes negros, y estos son errores comunes.
