durante la ocupación nazi dos hermanos fueron separados. La niña estaba en EEUU y le envió a su hermano, en Europa, una carta. Y dice él:

I'll never forget it, a letter from the USA, I mean, an American letter, this was very...hevy-duty staff. And it was, it was a real memory for me and, uh, we started writing to each other.

¿Cómo se podría traducir en este caso? La persona que habla lo hace en un tono bastante informal.
